Mayflower View

Mayflower View is a ground-floor apartment on a hillside above Dawlish, reached by a flight of steps up from the road. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, a double and a twin, both with plenty of storage, and both share a single shower room fitted with a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The kitchen/diner has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, and the dining table seats four for meals in. Next door, the sitting room holds two sofas, an electric fire, a TV and a selection of books and games, with doors opening onto the garden for quieter evenings.

Outside, an enclosed, south-facing garden has a patio and outdoor furniture, catching the sun through the day, with distant glimpses of the sea beyond. There is no parking on site, though roadside parking is available nearby. WiFi covers the apartment throughout, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

The shop and pub are around 0.2 miles from the door and the beach about 0.3 miles, all within walking distance of the apartment. Mayflower View does not accept pets and is no smoking throughout the property. Please take care on the steps up to the entrance: the apartment sits partway up a hill, so it suits guests happy with some walking and stairs on the approach, and heavy luggage is worth planning for.
