The Stables

The Stables is a barn conversion in Uplyme, a single-storey property that sleeps 8 across four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Steps lead to the exterior of the property and there are further steps between the living area and bedrooms inside, worth planning around if anyone in your group finds stairs difficult.

One king-size bedroom has its own en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Two more king-size bedrooms share Jack-and-Jill access to a second shower room with the same fittings, and a twin bedroom completes the four. A separate bathroom with a bath and overhead shower serves the rest of the house.

The open-plan living space has high A-framed beamed ceilings and glass doors onto a decked seating area with a table and chairs, plus a separate snug for quieter reading. The kitchen has a double electric oven, five-burner induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, wine chiller, washer/dryer and dishwasher, and there's a utility room. Underfloor heating runs throughout, with fuel and power included in the rent.

A private gravelled driveway holds up to 4 cars, and there's an EV charger run by Volshare, which is payable rather than included. A highchair and cot are available, and the front decked area has outdoor furniture. The Stables does not accept pets and is no smoking throughout; the shop is 0.3 miles away, the pub 0.2 miles, and the beach 1.6 miles.
