The Sheep Pen

The Sheep Pen is a converted barn on a small working sheep farm close to High Bickington, sleeping two guests in a single bedroom fitted with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed that can be made up as a twin on request. The bedroom has its own en-suite shower room and WC, with a further separate WC elsewhere in the barn.

Two steps lead up from the warm lounge and dining area, which has a feature wall and a TV, into a compact but well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A separate utility area holds the washing machine and freezer, and a wood burner in the lounge comes with a first basket of logs included.

Outside there is a private courtyard with garden furniture, a charcoal barbecue and a private hot tub with robes provided, plus use of a wild garden of around an acre where guests can walk through the farmyard and orchard. Electric vehicle charging is available on site, paid directly to the owner, and off-road parking is provided for one car. Internet access is included.

Up to three dogs are welcome for an additional charge, though the property and grounds are entirely smoke free. Infants are not accepted, though babes in arms are welcome. Arrival is from 5pm and departure by 10am.
