The Penthouse

The Penthouse is a reverse-level duplex apartment in Salcombe, reached via a communal hallway and a further 16 stairs inside. It sleeps 8, with a stated maximum of six adults, across three first-floor bedrooms: a super-king-size room with a TV and an en-suite shower room, a king-size room also with a TV, and a twin room with two further stora beds stored beneath by request, also with a TV. All three bedrooms were newly decorated and fitted with new beds. A first-floor bathroom with a heated towel rail and a separate shower room serve the bedrooms.

The second floor holds an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with two balconies, each with its own view and a gas barbecue for outdoor meals. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, a fridge and a separate fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher and a superfast WiFi connection, and there's a smart TV in the living space plus a first-floor utility room. Gas central heating covers the apartment, with fuel and power included in the rent, and bed linen and towels are also included.

An annual season ticket is provided for the town car park, and shops and pubs are on the doorstep. No pets are allowed and the apartment is strictly no smoking. The barbecue must be left clean at the end of the stay or a cleaning charge applies. The apartment was recently redecorated and carpeted throughout.
