Guests can wander through 8 acres of estate gardens where Exmoor ponies roam the adjoining moorland. The village of Dolton is within walking distance, with a shop, post office, butcher and a choice of pub.

The ground floor contains a kitchen with oak cabinetry hand-crafted from estate timber, electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with ice compartment. An intimate dining area with a stable door window adjoins it. A separate WC on this level also houses the washing machine. A characterful staircase leads to the first-floor lounge, which has a Smart TV, and then to the bedroom with a wrought iron king-size bed and walk-in wardrobe. The en-suite shower room contains a large custom glass and oak framed walk-in shower with its own WC.

A small front lawn provides a bistro table, chairs and charcoal BBQ. Off-road parking is available in the main area behind the property. High-speed WiFi, bathrobes, hairdryer and towels are all included. The property's age means steep wooden stairs and low doorways are present throughout, which is worth considering when booking.

Children and infants are not permitted, and dogs are not allowed. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure before 10:00. CCTV covers the parking area entrance and exit but is not continuously monitored unless required.
