The Old Post Office

The Old Post Office is a semi-detached Victorian cottage, one of five forming a courtyard beside meadows on the fringes of Down Thomas, about a mile from the sandy beach at Bovisand Bay and within reach of Plymouth. The cottage sleeps 5 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Steps lead up to the open-plan living area, with a kitchen and breakfast bar, dining table and a gas fire for cosy evenings. A shower room and a ground-floor bathroom with a shorter-than-standard bath serve the three bedrooms upstairs: a king-size double, a double and a single.

The kitchen has a microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and central heating runs alongside the gas fire. There's a TV with DVD and WiFi, with fuel and power included in the rent. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. Outside, an enclosed garden with a barbecue sits behind a small seating area at the front.

There is a designated parking space for one car, with additional roadside parking nearby. The Old Post Office does not accept pets and is no smoking throughout. Bookings from contractors working in the area are not accepted. Wembury beach and the Marine Conservation Centre are a short drive away, and the city of Plymouth is within a few miles for shops, the National Marine Aquarium and the theatre.
