4 Barton Cottages

4 Barton Cottages is an end-terrace Victorian cottage on the fringes of Down Thomas, one of a group of five built around a courtyard beside meadows, about 5 miles from Plymouth. The lounge has a woodburning stove and exposed beams, with two steps down into a well-equipped kitchen. The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, a double and a twin, sharing a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC.

The kitchen has an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, and the living/dining room has a TV, DVD player and WiFi. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the woodburning stove are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels. A highchair and travel cot are available on request.

To the front is an enclosed garden with a paved patio, furniture and a barbecue, plus a small lawned area to the side. One dog is welcome, and off-road parking is provided for 1 car. Smoking is not permitted.

Check-in is Monday or Friday only, with a minimum stay of 3 nights and a maximum of two weeks; July and August bookings run by the week. The shop and pub are both 0.1 miles away, and the beach is 0.9 miles.
