The Old Lace Shop

The Old Lace Shop stands in Beer, around 0.1 miles from the village's shop, pub and beach. Beer sits on the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, with a shingle beach backed by limestone cliffs. The former lace shop sleeps 7 across four bedrooms and two bathrooms, with one of each on the ground floor.

A ground-floor double bedroom has its own en-suite shower room with basin and WC. Upstairs are a second double, a twin and a single bedroom, sharing a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. A cloakroom sits off the ground floor too.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and the dining room seats the household for meals. The sitting room has an electric fire for cooler evenings, and gas central heating covers the rest of the cottage. Two TVs and WiFi are provided, and a stairgate, highchair and travel cot are available on request, though guests need to bring their own linen for the cot.

Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and the enclosed garden has a patio and furniture for outdoor meals. No pets are allowed and the cottage is no smoking throughout. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am. Seaton is 1.5 miles away, and Lyme Regis and Sidmouth both lie under 10 miles further along the coast.
