Sunnyside

Sunnyside is a period cottage in Colyton dating back to the 17th century, with original ceiling beams in the sitting room and a fireplace fitted with a woodburning stove. The kitchen has a small breakfast bar for a stool and a drink while cooking, and an elegant dining area sits alongside it for evening meals together.

Three bedrooms sleep four guests: a super-king-size, a small double and a single, sharing a single bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. The kitchen has an electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and a hairdryer, and a Smart HD LED TV, BOSE radio speaker and WiFi cover the sitting room for evenings in.

Gas central heating runs throughout the cottage, backed up by the woodburning stove, though logs for the stove are not supplied so bring your own if you want a fire. The dining area seats four for meals together, and the cottage sits within walking distance of Colyton's shops, cafes and St Andrew's Church.

Sunnyside welcomes two well-behaved dogs. Smoking is not permitted, and parking is on-road nearby, with a public car park a short walk from the cottage and one permit supplied per booking, subject to availability on the day. The neighbouring property is currently undergoing renovation, worth bearing in mind when you book.
