The Mead

On a quiet residential street in Beer, this three-bedroom home sleeps six across a double room, a twin and a bunk room. The double and bunk room both look out to sea. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath sits upstairs alongside all three bedrooms, and there is a separate WC on the ground floor. No dogs are permitted.

The ground-floor lounge connects to a front seating area through French doors, while the kitchen and dining area at the rear opens via bi-fold doors onto the raised deck. A large skylight keeps the space bright, and the kitchen peninsula with breakfast table and benches comfortably seats the whole group. Equipment includes an induction hob, integrated oven and microwave, and a dishwasher; a utility room houses a washer-dryer and an additional fridge.

The raised rear deck comes with an eight-person dining table, parasol and a gas BBQ. Note that garden furniture is only set out from Easter through to October half term. Covered private parking for one car is available on site, with a 1.8-metre height restriction in the carport.

A stairgate is available for the twin room, along with a highchair and travel cot; bring your own cot bedding. Beer Beach, a sheltered shingle cove with cafes and deckchairs for hire, is half a mile away, and a pub is around 350 metres from the door. Beach towels are not provided.
