The Linney

The Linney is one of three cottages converted from traditional Devon barns in the hamlet of Northleigh, deep in the lush hedgerow lanes of the Coly Valley about 4 miles from Colyton. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and can be booked together with The Shippen and Battens for a combined stay of 14.

The ground floor opens from the courtyard into a single open-plan living space with a seating area for watching TV, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer and microwave, plus doors onto a patio for eating alfresco.

Upstairs, a double and a twin bedroom share a family bathroom, and a cot and highchair are available on request. A shared laundry room off the courtyard has a washing machine and tumble dryer, and an outdoor games barn is shared with the other two cottages.

Outside, the patio and a shared lawn overlook surrounding farmland, with ducks on a fenced pond in the courtyard. The coastal villages of Beer, Sidmouth and Branscombe are within reach.

Off-road parking is provided for up to 2 cars, and two well-behaved dogs are welcome. The cottage is no smoking throughout, with a minimum stay of 4 nights that applies year round.
