The Calf Pen

The Calf Pen is a single-storey barn conversion at Tritchayne Farm, near Colyton in the East Devon AONB. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, with an open-plan living space and its own private patio, and is one of five cottages on the same site.

The sitting area has a woodburning stove and Smart TV, and the fully-equipped kitchen opens onto a dining table for meals together. A private patio sits just outside for outdoor dining, with wider access to a shared picnic area and play field for the whole farm.

One bedroom is a double with a chair, and the other is a twin that zip-links to a double on request, both served by a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a barbecue, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and electric central heating covers the cottage. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

The Calf Pen welcomes up to three well-behaved pets. Smoking is not permitted, and there's a designated car park on site, plus an enclosed front gravelled area with furniture. The shop and pub are around a mile away, and a pond on site is worth knowing about if you're travelling with young children.
