The Hoot is a first-floor apartment on Sandhills Road, Salcombe, reached by two flights of stairs and with wonderful views across the Salcombe Estuary. The lounge and dining room has a balcony with outdoor furniture, sliding windows onto the view, a hi-fi system and a TV with Blu-ray DVD player, plus a separate dining alcove.

There are three bedrooms: a king-size room with an en suite bath, shower, basin and WC; a twin with its own wardrobe; and a single, also with a wardrobe. A second bathroom next to the twin room has a hand basin, heated towel rail, airing cupboard, WC and shaver point, so the apartment sleeps 5 across two bathrooms.

The fitted kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer, plus a separate breakfast table. As one of the St Elmo Court apartments, The Hoot has shared use of a heated outdoor swimming pool, open from early May to late September. Two 22kw EV chargers are available in the lower carpark, accessed via the Tap Electric app.

Parking is provided for one car, and bed linen and towels are supplied. The Hoot does not have lift access, so the two flights of stairs are worth planning around, and bookings run Friday to Friday only. No pets are permitted and the property is strictly no smoking.
