Sleeps 6 3 beds 1 bath

Three-storey village property steps from the sea

Beer sits on the Jurassic Coast above a shingle beach where working fishing boats still land their catch. This three-storey property in the centre of the village sleeps six across three first-floor bedrooms, two with king-size beds and one with twins, all sharing a family bathroom fitted with twin basins and a shower over the bath. A parking permit for one vehicle comes with the booking, and one dog is welcome.

The ground-floor entrance hall has exposed brickwork, stripped floorboards and a feature ornamental fireplace. It doubles as a practical arrivals space with room for coats, boots and beach gear, and the washer/dryer sits in an understairs cupboard. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are provided for families with young children; the stairgate is fitted at the second-floor staircase.

The loft-style open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area occupies the top floor. Kitchen equipment includes a halogen hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a Cafe Gusto coffee machine. A TV with Freeview, DVD player and iPod docking station are available for evenings in. There is no garden, though the beach is under 400 metres on a downhill walk from the front door.

EV charging is available at the main Beer public car park, with charges applied by the car park operator. The village shop and pub are both within 400 metres. Guests should bring their own beach towels, as these are not provided.
