Ground-floor Hartland bungalow with a sea-view twin room

The Dovecote is a single-storey bungalow on a working livestock farm around 2 miles from Hartland, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Four steps lead up to the entrance, which may not suit guests with limited mobility. The bungalow sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and a separate shower room.

The king-size bedroom has an en-suite bath, shower over, basin, WC and its own veranda, while the twin bedroom has distant sea views. A separate shower room with basin and WC serves the rest of the bungalow. The dining area and sitting room both look out across the countryside towards the sea, and a hallway by the entrance is a practical spot for muddy boots after a walk.

The kitchen has a range cooker with a gas oven and hob, a microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and a full-height fridge freezer in the utility room, plus a TV with Freeview, DVD and WiFi, a selection of books, games and DVDs. An electric fire warms the sitting room alongside the gas central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Outside is an enclosed lawned garden with decking and seating for 4. The Dovecote welcomes two well-behaved pets, kept under supervision as there is livestock nearby, and barbecues aren't permitted on site. Smoking isn't permitted. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and the shop and pub are 2 miles away. Hartland Abbey and Hartland Point are both within easy reach for a day out.
