The Cottage

The Cottage is a period cottage in the heart of Budleigh Salterton, close to the beach and the town's High Street. The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and one bathroom, with flexible sleeping for a small family or two couples sharing.

A small, snug-style sitting room has a Smart TV and an external door onto the rear courtyard, so evenings can spill outside while the light lasts. The compact kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, and a separate dining room gives space for unhurried breakfasts and evening meals as the day's plans come together. Central heating covers the cottage, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Upstairs, a double bedroom and a twin room with zip-link beds, which can be made into a double on request, share a family bathroom with a bath and a handheld shower attachment.

The Cottage takes one well-behaved dog, and the enclosed rear courtyard has patio furniture, a private spot for a morning coffee. As a period property, there are some steps, uneven floors and low ceilings to bear in mind when booking. Roadside parking is available nearby, with a paid car park a short walk away. Smoking is not permitted; the shop and pub are both 0.1 miles away, and the beach is around 150 metres away.
