Bridge Cottage

Bridge Cottage sits in Budleigh Salterton, one of East Devon's quieter coastal towns on the Jurassic Coast, with the South West Coast Path running through it. The pub is 0.1 miles away and the beach 1.9 miles, with a shop 1.2 miles off, so the cottage suits guests happy to walk into town for most things. Outside, an enclosed rear courtyard with furniture gives a private spot for a morning coffee or an evening drink before dinner.

Two bedrooms sit upstairs: a double with its own TV and a twin room, both offering a quiet spot to rest after a day out. The main bathroom has a corner bath with a shower over, a basin and WC, and a separate ground-floor cloakroom with basin and WC keeps things simple when everyone is getting ready to go out at the same time.

The kitchen has an electric oven, convection hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, useful after a day spent on the beach or the coast path. The living/dining room has an electric fire and a TV for evenings in. Gas central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and WiFi covers the cottage throughout for anyone who needs to stay connected.

Bridge Cottage takes two well-behaved dogs, so the whole family can come along. Roadside parking is available outside the property, and smoking is not permitted inside. Exmouth and Sidmouth are both within easy reach by car for a change of scene during a longer stay.
