Badger's Den

Badger's Den is a thatched cottage in Budleigh Salterton, set back from a country lane next to the owner's home, with views over vineyards on the opposite hills. It sleeps 6 across three bedrooms: a ground-floor twin with an en-suite shower room, plus a king-size room with its own vineyard view and a further twin upstairs. A ground-floor family bathroom with a bath completes the two-bathroom layout.

Downstairs, the living/dining room has an electric fire and TV, though the low ceiling may not suit anyone over 6ft. The galley kitchen is fitted for cooking, and a conservatory opens onto the back garden for a spot to sit whatever the weather. Gas central heating, WiFi, a TV and DVD player are included, along with fuel, power, bed linen and towels in the rent, and a cot and highchair are available.

The enclosed rear garden has a lawn, furniture and a barbecue for dining outdoors, with room for dogs to roam. Three well-behaved dogs are welcome at Badger's Den, and the cottage is no smoking throughout.

Dedicated parking is provided for 2 cars, with the pub around 0.1 miles away and the shop about 1.3 miles. The house sits within the East Devon National Landscape, close to the coast at Budleigh Salterton.
