The Coach House

The Coach House stands a five-minute walk from Teignmouth's sandy beach, within Teignmouth. The converted period property sleeps 12 across six bedrooms and four bathrooms, split between the ground and first floors.

Two bedrooms sit on the ground floor: a double with patio doors and an adult bunk room, sharing a ground-floor shower room. Upstairs, two king-size bedrooms each have their own en-suite, one with a shower and a stained-glass window and the other with a roll-top bath, while two further double bedrooms share a first-floor shower room with a glimpse of the sea over the rooftops.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and a Smart TV with Netflix and Freeview covers evenings in. A wrap around timber deck leads down to an enclosed garden with furniture and a charcoal barbecue, and there's an exterior games room with a pool table, table tennis, table football and darts. Off-road parking is ample, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

The Coach House takes two well-behaved pets, with a charge for the second. Three shallow, carpeted steps lead down into the living room, worth noting for anyone with limited mobility. Smoking is not permitted, the property does not take stag or hen party bookings, and the shop is 0.1 miles away, the pub 0.2 miles and the beach a five-minute walk.
