Harbour Lodge - Teignmouth

This Grade II listed holiday home in Teignmouth sleeps eight across four bedrooms spread over three floors. Two super-king zip-and-link beds can each be reconfigured as twins at the time of booking, alongside a king in the master room and a double on the first floor. Two family bathrooms serve the house: one with a bath and overhead shower on the first floor, a second with his-and-hers basins and a walk-in shower on the second floor, plus a separate WC on the first floor. Note that stairs from the communal hallway lead up to the front door before the internal floors begin.

The open-plan living, dining and kitchen space seats all eight around a black glass-topped table, with a feature fireplace as the focal point and a large Smart TV. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, air fryer and coffee machine. The master bedroom on the second floor has its own Smart TV and a compact kitchenette, with direct access to an Astroturf balcony. A welcome pack from the owner is provided on arrival.

Three separate outdoor areas come with the property. French doors off the living space open onto a fully enclosed courtyard with outdoor seating, a hot tub available throughout the year, and an outdoor toilet. A second fully enclosed rear courtyard off the kitchen accommodates the whole group for alfresco dining on rattan furniture. A first-floor balcony with two sun loungers is reached via a metal spiral staircase and is noted as unsuitable for young children. Private parking for two cars is included, with shed storage for bikes and outdoor equipment; a slipway and trailer parking are accessible around five minutes away.

Travel cots, highchairs and a stairgate are available on request. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. The pub is 65 metres from the property, local shops are around 0.3 miles away, and the beach is 0.5 miles away.
