Sunset Glamping Escapes - Sea Mist

Sea Mist is one of ten cabins on a quiet glamping site on the Hartland Peninsula in North Devon, sleeping up to four guests. The open-plan interior combines a living area and sleeping zone under full insulation and double glazing, with a king-size bed at one end and a bunk bed suited to children at the other. A modern kitchenette provides an electric hob, combi oven, fridge with ice compartment, kettle and toaster, and a private en-suite shower room with WC completes the interior.

A private deck with outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ sits directly outside the cabin, and a shared Nordic BBQ hut is available for communal evenings. The site also has a fishing lake. Guests can pre-book exclusive access to the Wild Spa hot tub and chill-out area, subject to availability, with Daylight sessions (12pm to 4pm) at £25 and Twilight sessions (5pm to 10pm) at £30 per cabin, or two sessions for £50; two towels are included. Barista-style coffee can be pre-ordered by 8pm for next-morning cabin delivery, and breakfast hampers can also be arranged directly with the owner, both at extra cost.

Off-road parking for one car is in the car park beside the site, and wheelbarrows are on hand to move luggage across to the cabin. Between March and the end of September, two electric bikes are available to hire on a first-come, first-served basis, with child seats or a double trailer also offered. Up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

The village of Hartland is around 1.2 miles inland, with pubs, shops, a bakery, a coffee shop and craft galleries. The South West Coast Path runs along the clifftops nearby, and Hartland Quay with its pebbled beach and Shipwreck Museum is roughly 3.2 miles along the coast. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
