Sunset Glamping Escapes - Saltsea

This handcrafted wooden cabin sleeps four and sits between the dramatic coastline of the Hartland Peninsula and the village of Hartland, roughly 1.7 miles from the pub and shop and 2.2 miles from the beach. Part of a small glamping complex in North Devon, the cabin is fully insulated, double-glazed and heated year-round, making it a practical choice well beyond the summer months.

Inside, the open-plan space combines the living and sleeping areas, with a king-size bed and a bunk bed suited to children. A kitchenette provides an electric hob, combi oven, fridge with ice compartment, kettle and toaster for self-catering. The en-suite shower room contains a shower and WC, and a TV is included. Breakfast hampers can be pre-ordered and paid for directly with the owner.

A private deck with bench seating and a charcoal BBQ makes for easy al fresco meals, and shared access to a Nordic BBQ hut is available on site. Exclusive use of the Wild Spa hot tub and chill-out area can be pre-booked with the owner, subject to availability; sessions are priced separately at 25 pounds for a daytime slot or 30 pounds for an evening session, with two towels included. A fishing lake is also accessible on site.

Parking is off-road in a car park beside the site, with wheelbarrows provided to carry luggage to the cabin. Up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00. Electric bikes with child seats or a double trailer can be hired between March and late September on a first-come, first-served basis.
