Sunset Glamping Escapes - Meadow Tide

Meadow Tide is a fully insulated, double-glazed wooden cabin sleeping four on a glamping site near Hartland in North Devon. The open-plan interior brings together a living area and sleeping space, with a king-size bed at one end and a bunk bed that works well for children. A kitchenette fitted with an electric hob, small combi oven, fridge with ice compartment, kettle and toaster covers light meal preparation, and the en-suite shower room has a shower and WC.

Outside, the private deck comes with outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ. A shared Nordic BBQ hut is also available on site for communal evenings, and a fishing lake is accessible within the grounds. Exclusive access to the Wild Spa hot tub can be pre-booked with the owner at extra cost: daylight sessions run 12pm to 4pm at £25 or twilight sessions from 5pm to 10pm at £30, and any two sessions booked together cost £50, with two towels included. Breakfast hampers and barista-style coffee delivered to the cabin the following morning can both be pre-ordered at additional charge.

Parking is off-road in the car park next to the site with space for one car; wheelbarrows are on hand to transport luggage to the cabin. Two electric bikes, with two child seats or one double child trailer, can be hired between March and the end of September on a first-come, first-served basis. Up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00.

The village of Hartland, with a pub and shop, is around 1.7 miles away, and the nearest beach is approximately 2.2 miles from the site. Hartland Abbey, a 12th-century house with maintained gardens and a secluded cove beach, is close by and makes a straightforward day out.
