Sunset Glamping Escapes - Bayleaf

Bayleaf is a fully insulated, double-glazed glamping cabin sleeping four within a small cluster of ten cabins on the Hartland Peninsula in North Devon. One open-plan room holds a king-size bed and a bunk bed alongside the living area, with a kitchenette fitted with an electric hob, combi oven, fridge with ice compartment, kettle and toaster. The private en-suite shower room has a shower and WC. Heating and double glazing make it a practical choice year-round.

A private deck with outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ looks onto the surrounding countryside. Guests also share use of a Nordic BBQ hut for communal cooking and evenings out, and a fishing lake sits on site. Exclusive access to the Wild Spa hot tub and chill-out area can be pre-booked with the owner, subject to availability: Daylight sessions (12pm to 4pm) cost 25 pounds per cabin and Twilight sessions (5pm to 10pm) cost 30 pounds, or any two sessions for 50 pounds, with two towels included.

Parking is off-road in the car park next to the site, with wheelbarrows provided to move luggage to the cabin. Up to two dogs are welcome, with additional charges possibly applying. Freshly brewed barista-style coffee can be pre-ordered by 8pm for next-morning delivery between 8am and 10am at extra cost, and breakfast hampers can be pre-booked and paid for directly with the owner.

The village of Hartland is roughly 1.7 miles inland with pubs, a shop, a bakery, a coffee shop and craft galleries. A beach is around 2.2 miles away, and the South West Coast Path is accessible from the site. Check-in is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
