Sunset Glamping Escapes - Barefoot Bay

Barefoot Bay is a handcrafted wooden cabin sleeping four on a quiet glamping site in North Devon, within easy reach of the Hartland coastline and around 1.6 miles from the village itself. Fully insulated, double-glazed and heated, the cabin works year-round rather than just in summer. The open-plan interior holds a king-size bed with plush bedding and a bunk bed suited to children, alongside a sitting area and a private en-suite shower room with shower and WC.

The kitchenette covers daily practicalities well: electric hob, small combi oven, fridge with ice compartment, kettle and toaster. Freshly brewed barista-style coffee can be pre-ordered by 8pm for next-morning cabin delivery at a charge, and breakfast hampers are available to arrange directly with the owner. A TV completes the interior.

Outside, a private deck with seating and a charcoal BBQ looks out over peaceful surroundings, and a shared Nordic BBQ hut is available for communal evenings. There is an on-site fishing lake, and exclusive access to the Wild Spa hot tub and chill-out area can be pre-booked with the owner subject to availability; a Daylight session (12pm to 4pm) costs 25 pounds, a Twilight session (5pm to 10pm) costs 30 pounds, or two sessions for 50 pounds with two towels included. Parking is off-road in a car park beside the site, with wheelbarrows provided to move luggage to the cabin.

Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00. Electric bikes with child seats or a double trailer are available to hire between March and the end of September on a first-come, first-served basis.
