Sunset Glamping Escapes - Amber Cove

Amber Cove is a handcrafted wooden cabin in the North Devon countryside near Hartland, sleeping two adults with off-road parking for one car in the site car park. Wheelbarrows are provided to transport luggage to the cabin, so it is worth packing with that in mind. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

Fully insulated, double-glazed and heated year-round, the cabin combines a king-size bed and living area in a single comfortable space. A kitchenette holds an electric hob, combi oven, fridge with ice compartment, kettle and toaster, and the en-suite shower room has a shower and WC. A TV is included. A small sofa bed for children can be requested at the time of booking but does not raise the two-person capacity.

Out on the private deck, a wood-fired hot tub for two sits alongside outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ, all looking across the fishing lake. A shared Nordic BBQ hut on site provides an option for communal cooking evenings. Exclusive access to the Wild Spa hydrotherapy hot tub and chill-out area can be pre-booked with the owner at extra cost, with daytime sessions (12pm to 4pm) and twilight sessions (5pm to 10pm) available. Breakfast hampers and barista coffee delivery to the cabin can also be arranged directly with the owner for a fee.

Fishing on the on-site lake is a straightforward option for a quiet afternoon, and electric bikes with child seats or a double trailer are available to hire between March and the end of September on a first-come, first-served basis. A pub and shop are around 1.7 miles away and the nearest beach approximately 2.2 miles. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
