This detached four-bedroom house sits close to Shaldon, on the South Devon coast across the Teign estuary, and sleeps up to eight guests. An entrance hall opens into a bright living room with patio doors to the garden, a Smart TV and a gas coal-effect fireplace, connecting through to an open-plan kitchen and dining room with its own patio doors and a large dining table.

The ground floor also holds a twin bedroom with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed and a downstairs shower room with WC. Upstairs there is a further twin bedroom with a zip-and-link bed and en-suite bathroom, plus a double bedroom and another twin bedroom sharing a contemporary family bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering, and a utility room adds a second fridge/freezer alongside the washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outside, a south-facing covered veranda with patio leads onto a lawned garden enclosed by a high wall, suited to alfresco dining or games, though it backs onto a primary school. Private parking is available for three cars. Two dogs are welcome by arrangement with an additional charge, but they are not permitted upstairs.

Families travelling with young children will find a travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. The property lies around half a mile from a beach, pub and shop, and internet access is provided throughout.
