Sunnyside - Appledore

This Victorian villa stands on a quiet cobbled lane in Appledore, within easy walking distance of the quayside, pubs, shops and cafés. Arranged over three floors, the house sleeps eight across four bedrooms and retains a good deal of period character alongside practical, well-equipped living space.

The ground floor holds a sitting room with a log burner, a TV and board games, along with a kitchen that opens onto a sunny deck. On the first floor are three bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath, shower and WC: two of the bedrooms have zip-and-link beds that can be made up as super-king or twin, and the third is a double with views towards the estuary. A second staircase leads to the top-floor main bedroom, which has a king-size bed, a small seating area, dressing space, tea-making facilities and its own en-suite bathroom with bath and hand shower. A separate WC serves the ground floor.

Outside, the private enclosed garden offers a lawn, a patio with both gas and charcoal barbecues, and a deck looking out towards Instow across the estuary. A shed on site holds games and beach gear including wetsuits and boogie boards for guests to use during their stay. The kitchen is fitted with an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and there's a smart TV in the sitting room.

Parking is unallocated, relying on public pay-and-display car parks or free roadside spaces along the Quay when available, so there's no guaranteed space for the property. Up to three dogs are welcome, with additional charges possibly applying. A travel cot and highchair can be requested ahead of arrival. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.
