A La Mer

A La Mer is a reverse-level home near Appledore, arranged so that the living space sits upstairs to take advantage of the coastal and estuary views. The ground floor holds all four bedrooms: a king-size room and a double room each with their own en-suite shower room, plus two twin rooms served by a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The property sleeps up to eight guests across these four bedrooms.

Upstairs, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area opens onto a large balcony with seating, making the most of the estuary outlook. The kitchen has an island with stools and a large dining table, and there is a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer just off it, along with an additional shower room and WC on this level. The lounge has a media wall with an electric fire and Smart TV, while a separate snug gives younger guests their own space with a games table and a further Smart TV.

Outside, a bridge leads from the lounge to an enclosed rear garden with a private hot tub, garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue, taking in estuary views. A further enclosed lawn area sits on the upper level, with an outside hot and cold shower useful for rinsing off after the beach or a muddy walk. Private parking is available on site for up to three cars, and there is electric vehicle charging.

Up to three dogs are welcome, with additional charges that may apply. Wifi is available at the property, and practical extras include a travel cot and highchair for younger visitors. The coastal path is close by and the beach a short distance away, with a pub and shop within easy reach for day-to-day essentials.
