South View

South View is a two-bedroom cottage in Frogmore, a quiet village near Kingsbridge in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, sleeping up to four guests. On-street parking is available nearby in the village, and up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

Bi-fold doors open the summer room and dining area to a view over the garden and a glimpse of the river beyond, making it a practical space for both relaxing and eating. The galley kitchen has Italian marble worktops, an electric oven and hob, and a fridge-freezer, with a second table and chairs at one end for breakfast or a morning coffee. A downstairs WC and washing machine-dryer add everyday convenience, and the lounge has a smart TV and a gas fireplace. The family bathroom upstairs provides a bath with shower over.

To the rear, the enclosed garden has a grassed area leading down to a more secluded spot with a firepit, plus outdoor seating and dining with a riverside view. The king-size bedroom also looks out toward countryside and the river in the distance, while the twin room has plenty of space for the second set of guests.

A pub is within 100 yards of the cottage and a shop around half a mile away. The nearest beach at Torcross is 3.6 miles, and Kingsbridge is close by for independent shops, cafes and galleries.
