Iris at Stancombe Manor

Iris at Stancombe Manor is a barn conversion on a shared estate in Sherford, around 2 miles from Chillington and a short drive from Frogmore. The layout is reverse-level: the entrance floor holds an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area and the first-floor double bedroom with its en-suite bathroom, while two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower sit downstairs, each twin room opening onto a rear enclosed courtyard.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and the living area has a TV and DVD player. A highchair and travel cot are available, WiFi is included, and gas heating covers the barn. The property sleeps 6 in total.

Outside, a front patio with furniture overlooks the estate's tennis courts and play area, and an on-site BBQ is provided for guests. Parking is reserved for one car, with further first-come first-served spaces nearby, and there are some steep steps from the car park to take care on.

Guests can also use the wider estate's shared facilities: an indoor swimming pool, tennis court, pitch and putt golf, sauna, a games room with table tennis, table football and a pool table, and a separate snooker room; children need supervising in both the games room and the snooker room. One well-behaved pet is welcome, and the barn is no smoking throughout. A shop and a pub are both 2.2 miles away.
