Primrose at Stancombe Manor, Nr Kingsbridge

Primrose is a first-floor apartment in a converted 17th-century cider barn near Sherford, within easy reach of Frogmore. An outside covered staircase with open tread steps leads up to your own front door, so it's worth planning around if anyone in your group has limited mobility. The apartment sleeps 4 across a king-size bedroom, with space for a cot on request, and a twin room with two 3ft beds, sharing a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.

The open-plan living space has a newly fitted kitchen, a dining area for four and a sitting area with a Smart TV, Blu-ray player, Bluetooth speaker and WiFi. Electric central heating covers the apartment, and fuel, power, bed linen, towels and a welcome pack are all included in the rent. A highchair is available on request.

Guests share 13 acres of grounds with a heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna, an all-weather tennis court (bring your own racquets), a children's play area and a games room with a pool table, table football and table tennis. Communal gardens have picnic benches and BBQs, and a designated parking space takes 2 cars parked in tandem.

Primrose allows one well-behaved dog. The property is strictly no smoking, and the nearest shop is 2.3 miles away with the pub 2.1 miles.
