Cowslip Cottage

Cowslip Cottage is a barn conversion on the outskirts of Frogmore, a village at the head of Frogmore Creek known for its bakery and traditional pub, about eight miles from Salcombe and a 10-minute drive from the Start Bay coastline. Bi-fold doors lead from the open-plan kitchen, sitting and dining area out to a paved rear terrace with table and chairs for al fresco meals, and the front garden gives children room to explore.

The cottage sleeps 6 across three bedrooms: a super king-size room with an en-suite bathroom, bath and shower cubicle on the second floor, and a king-size room and a twin room on the first floor, sharing a family bathroom with a bath and shower cubicle. There is also an additional cloakroom downstairs for guests.

The country kitchen has a classic range cooker with a four-ring hob, griddle and three ovens, plus a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, and the oak dining table seats six for evening meals. The open-plan living space has underfloor heating and a wood burner, oil central heating, a widescreen TV with DVD player, and WiFi runs throughout the cottage.

A cot and highchair are available on request for younger guests, and one well-behaved pet is accepted, at an extra charge. Parking is provided for one car, with additional visitor spaces usually available nearby, and the cottage is strictly no smoking throughout.
