Alexander's Cottage

Alexander's Cottage stands in the village of Frogmore, close to Frogmore Creek, within Frogmore. This thatched cottage keeps its original character, with exposed beams, stone walls and a feature fireplace in the living/dining room. It sleeps 5 across three bedrooms, a double, a twin and a single, with one bathroom fitted with a bath, shower over, basin and WC.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and the living/dining room is warmed by the fireplace alongside central heating, with fuel and power included in the rent. A TV and WiFi cover evenings in, and bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside, the garden has a courtyard with a barbecue and a raised seating area at the top of a run of steps, looking over the surrounding hills. Frogmore Creek is a short walk away for launching your own canoe, dinghy or paddleboard, or for fishing and crabbing at low tide. Roadside parking is available nearby, or in the car park at the local pub, and the shop is 0.6 miles away with the pub just 0.1 miles from the door.

Alexander's Cottage takes one well-behaved dog, and does not accept children or infants under 3 years old. There are five steps up to the front door, a step into the kitchen and out to the garden, a low doorway at the back and stairs that curve on the way up, worth planning around if anyone in your group has limited mobility. Bookings run week-long from Saturday to Saturday, with no short breaks at peak times, the property does not allow smoking, and the road past the cottage can get busy at peak times.
