South Blatchborough Manor

South Blatchborough Manor sits near Bradworthy in North Devon, close to the Cornish border, and offers accommodation for up to 10 guests across five bedrooms. A ground-floor king-size room with a feature fire surround sits at the rear of the property, while the first floor holds two further king-size rooms and two twin rooms, one with a bay window and countryside views. There is one bathroom with a roll-top bath, plus a ground-floor shower room and a separate WC.

The ground floor centres on two large rooms either side of the hallway: a lounge with a wood burner, Smart TV and French doors to the garden, and a dining room with a second wood burner, its own TV and further French doors outside. The kitchen has an electric range oven and hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, with a breakfast bar for informal meals. A utility room off the kitchen holds a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outside, a large lawned garden is enclosed and furnished with garden seating, a charcoal barbecue, a trampoline, a swing and a slide, making it a practical space for children to play. Private off-road parking is available on the driveway, though the approach roads are B roads. Internet access is provided in the property.

Up to four dogs can stay, with additional charges applying. A locked internal door connects to an adjacent property but remains permanently secured and cannot be opened. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and the first basket of logs for the wood burners is included, with more available to purchase locally. Guests should note the private water supply serving the property.
