Devon House

Devon House sits on the edge of Bradworthy, a quiet North Devon village where a small grocery shop, family butcher, post office and pub are all within a quarter of a mile. The gravelled driveway takes up to five cars, and the wide entrance hallway gives plenty of room to sort coats and walking boots before settling in.

The ground floor centres on a light kitchen and dining room fitted with painted cabinets, quality worktops, an electric oven and hob, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher and coffee machine with Tassimo pods. A separate utility room holds both the washing machine and tumble dryer. The lounge has comfortable sofas and a Smart TV, and a games room alongside contains a quarter-size billiards table with pool and snooker balls plus board games for wet afternoons. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor, and a downstairs WC completes the level.

All five bedrooms are upstairs. The largest has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed and a Smart TV; the second bedroom also has a Smart TV and is made up as a king-size. The remaining three bedrooms each have super-king-size zip-and-link beds that can be converted to twins at the time of booking. Two bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms with WC, and the other three share a family bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and WC. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available for families with young children.

Patio doors from both the dining area and the games room open onto an enclosed garden with a large lawn, patio furniture, BBQ and a hot tub. Tamar Lakes, roughly three and a half miles away, has boat trips, fishing and water-based activities, and the nearest beach at Bude is around eleven miles. No dogs are permitted at this property.
