Sir George Baker Cabin

Sir George Baker Cabin stands in private grounds near Uplyme, a single-storey, charred cedar-clad cabin built for two. A long sweeping drive runs through electric gates to an allocated parking space for one car, and the cabin sits in a woodland setting backed by mature trees and specimen planting.

The open-plan living area has a vaulted ceiling and bi-fold doors onto a decked terrace with a bistro table and chairs. The king-size bedroom sits off the living space, and the shower room has a walk-in rainfall shower, basin and WC. The kitchen has an electric hob, air fryer, microwave and fridge with ice box, but there's no oven.

Steps lead down from the terrace to a pergola-covered hot tub in a small allocated area of the garden. Electric heating covers the cabin, and there's a Smart TV with WiFi for evenings in. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

No pets are allowed and the cabin is no smoking throughout. The shop is 0.7 miles away and the pub 0.8 miles. The drive in is rural, so a torch is useful after dark, and although the cabin itself is all on one level, the hot tub area is reached via 5 external steps.
