Avalon

Avalon is a single-storey static lodge on the Hook Farm site in Uplyme, new for 2025. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, a double and a twin with two smaller single beds, sharing one shower room with a cubicle, basin and WC. One step leads up to the decked entrance.

Inside, an open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas with views over the surroundings. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, and the sitting area has a Smart TV and Wi-Fi. Gas heating covers the lodge, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Outside, a decked terrace has furniture for sitting out and taking in the views. An allocated off-road parking space is provided for 1 car, with extra on-site parking available at an additional cost. EV charging points are located elsewhere on the park, payable via app, rather than at the lodge itself. There is an on-site shop, and guests are asked to keep noise low after 10.30pm.

Avalon does not accept pets, and the lodge is no smoking throughout. The pub is 0.2 miles away, and the beach is 1.9 miles.

Hook Farm is a short walk from Uplyme itself, home to the Talbot Arms pub, a small post office and shop, and a village church. Riverside walks lead from the village to Lyme Regis, with its sandy beach and the historic Cobb harbour, and the Seaton tramway is a further drive along the coast.
