Charlesmead

Charlesmead is a single-storey bungalow in Uplyme, with both bedrooms on the ground floor and off-road parking for 3 cars. The open-plan living area has wooden flooring and bay windows, with window seats, a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area sharing the same space, plus a bar area next to the kitchen for casual meals.

The double bedroom and twin room share a bathroom with a bath, a shower over, a basin and a WC. Gas heating is backed up by a woodburning stove in the living space, and the kitchen has an electric oven, an electric hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice box, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a hairdryer, with a TV, DVD player and WiFi for evenings in.

Steps lead up to the property, worth noting for anyone with limited mobility or heavy luggage. A riverside walk leads from the village down to Lyme Regis town centre.

No pets are allowed and the property is strictly no smoking. The shop is 0.3 miles away and the pub 0.1 miles, with Lyme Regis around a mile further for shops, cafes, the harbour and the Jurassic Coast's fossil-hunting beaches.
