Shore Break

Shore Break sits on a 60-acre cliff-top estate above Westward Ho beach in North Devon. The cottage sleeps 3 guests across a king-size bedroom and a compact single bedroom, with a shower room containing a walk-in shower and WC. The bright lounge has comfortable sofas facing a Smart TV and a Bluetooth stereo with iPod dock, while the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine.

An enclosed garden with lawn and patio wraps around the side of the property, furnished with seating and a two-person hot tub. A gas BBQ sits on the patio. From the grounds you have direct access to the South West Coast Path and down to the beach, making it straightforward to leave the car behind for the day. The estate also includes a shared indoor play barn, open from March to October.

Ample off-road parking is provided on site. The beach is within walking distance and shops are roughly 1 mile away. One dog is welcome, though additional charges may apply. A travel cot and highchair are available, and The Nest, a Scandinavian BBQ hut, can be pre-booked for sole use directly with the owners. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.

The surrounding area has a traffic-free cycle path on the Tarka Trail, a local surf school offering lessons and wetsuit hire, and the nearby fishing villages of Appledore and Instow worth a visit on foot or by bike.
