Crab Apple Cottage

Crab Apple Cottage is a single-storey stone barn conversion forming part of a courtyard of nine cottages near Westward Ho, near Bideford. It sleeps three guests across two bedrooms, a double and a single, with one bathroom fitted with a shower over bath and WC.

Inside, an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area includes an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge, along with a Smart TV with DVD player for evenings in. Electric and night storage heating is included, and bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside, guests can use a shared BBQ area with picnic tables and a fire pit, plus a shared lawn to the front of the cottage. The complex has a shared 40ft outdoor swimming pool, heated from the late May bank holiday until 1 September and closed outside those dates. A shared children's play area with swings and slides is also available, along with a shared utility room housing coin-operated washing machines and a tumble dryer. Off-road parking is provided for one car.

Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying, and a fully enclosed dog exercise field sits less than 100 yards from the cottage. Shops and the beach at Westward Ho are around a mile away, with a pub and restaurant within walking distance. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, making this a practical base for small families.
