Shipwrights stands on Coronation Road in Salcombe, a short stroll from the waterfront and the boutique shops on Island Street. Spread over three floors, the house sleeps 8 across four bedrooms, with steps up to the interior and again to the dining area.

The king-size bedroom and the bunk room, whose top bunk has a maximum weight limit of 60kg, make up two of the bedrooms, while a double with its own TV and a twin bedroom occupy the second floor next to a shower room with a walk-in shower. A separate family bathroom with bath and shower over serves the rest of the house.

The open-plan kitchen/diner is fitted with an electric oven, induction hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a coffee maker, and a separate utility room holds the washing machine and tumble dryer. The sitting room is a quieter spot to unwind, and the rear garden is enclosed with a lawn, deck and furniture for time outdoors.

Shipwrights takes up to two well-behaved dogs, and smoking is not permitted. Private driveway parking is available for one medium-sized car, and the owners advise against using a stairgate at the top of the stairs because of the curved banisters. The shop and pub are both around 0.2 miles away.
