Shipload Cottage

Shipload Cottage is one of three holiday cottages set in shared grounds in the village of Hartland, with two bedrooms for up to four guests. A double room sits alongside a twin with its own en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

The kitchen/diner is fully equipped for cooking, and the sitting room gives a spot to settle in after a day out. A garden and sun terrace lie just outside for morning coffee or an alfresco meal, and guests can also use the property's private woodland, with steps, bridges and boardwalks, plus a paddock for walking dogs.

Oil central heating covers the cottage, with an electric oven, ceramic hob and microwave in the kitchen, plus a shared washer/dryer in the shared utility room. A TV with Freeview, DVD player, radio and WiFi are provided. A cot and highchair are available for younger guests.

Shipload Cottage takes two well-behaved dogs, with a complimentary guest laundry on site. Check-ins run on Saturdays only, off-road parking is available, and the raised steps and terrace mean it may not suit toddlers or guests with low mobility. The shop is 2.1 miles away, the pub 2 miles and the beach 1.1 miles.
