Seaweed
Single-storey Weston cottage with sea views, near Sidmouth
Seaweed is a single-storey holiday home on a small holiday complex of 70 cottages in Weston, on the outskirts of Sidmouth, around 3.3 miles away. The grounds overlook the sea at Weston Mouth, and the south west coastal footpath runs alongside the site. The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and one bathroom.
The double and twin bedrooms both have plenty of storage and are served by the family bathroom, which has a bath with a shower over. The living/dining room is bright and airy with views out over the grounds, and the galley kitchen, though compact, has everything needed for cooking, with meals eaten at the dining table or outside at the picnic bench, where there are sea views.
The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice box and a washing machine, plus a TV and WiFi in the living area. Electric central heating covers the property, though electricity itself is metered separately and paid for as you go rather than included in the rent.
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is an allocated parking space with additional off-road parking, and a non-enclosed lawned garden with a picnic bench. Smoking is not permitted, and the property itself has no on-site facilities, with the shop 3.1 miles away, the pub 1.7 miles and the beach 1.2 miles.
