Broom Cottage

Broom Cottage is a semi-detached, all-ground-floor bungalow on Stoneleigh Holiday Park, a few miles from Sidmouth on the south Devon coast. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area looks out across a shared lawn towards the countryside, with views of the sea beyond.

The king-size double and a twin room with a pull-out stacker bed sleep 5 in total. A bathroom with a bath, separate shower, basin, WC and a heated towel rail serves both bedrooms.

Electric central heating runs throughout, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a dishwasher. There's a TV with a PVR recorder, a Blu-ray player, a CD and radio unit with streaming from a tablet or phone, and WiFi, though the connection can slow at peak times.

Outside, guests share use of a lawned garden and a private patio with furniture, a spot for eating outdoors while looking over the countryside. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and the nearby Donkey Sanctuary has electric car charging points, with recharging costs that may apply.

No pets are allowed and the bungalow is no smoking throughout. A shop, pub and beach are around 2 miles away, and the Donkey Sanctuary itself is a short walk from the door.
