Seagulls

Seagulls stands on Fore Street in the heart of Salcombe, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just steps from the harbour's cafes and boutiques. A passenger ferry to East Portlemouth and South Sands leaves from nearby. The three-storey cottage sleeps 8 across four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with views across the water towards Whitestrand from several rooms and access to Fore Street on the other side.

A courtyard at the front holds a dining table, chairs and a barbecue, with private steps giving direct access to Waterfront, and a sun terrace opens off the first-floor sitting room. The ground-floor lounge has two double sofas, while a second sitting room on the second floor adds wicker chairs and a flatscreen TV looking out over the estuary and countryside.

The kitchen/diner has a five-ring gas range with double oven and grill, a dishwasher, fridge and a table seating 8 for meals. A ground-floor utility room holds a fridge/freezer, tumble dryer and microwave, and the washing machine sits in the ground-floor shower room, which also has a separate WC and basin.

The master bedroom has an en-suite bath with a shower over and its own access to a sun terrace with outdoor chairs. Three further bedrooms, a king and two twins, sit on the top floor up a narrow, steep curved staircase and share a bathroom with bath and shower. No pets are permitted and the cottage is strictly no smoking; WiFi is available throughout.
