Savernake

Savernake is a 1920s detached house set back from Thurlestone, with sea views from the dining room and sitting room across to South Milton Sands. A hallway on the ground floor leads to a well-equipped kitchen with an island unit and breakfast bar, opening into the dining room, and a cosy sitting room that shares the impressive sea views.

Upstairs are the five bedrooms: a master with en-suite, a super king-size double that can be set up as twins on request, a second king-size room with its own en-suite shower, plus a double and a single. Four bathrooms serve the house in total, and the property sleeps 9, though it accommodates a maximum of 8 adults.

Outside, lawned grounds run to the front and rear, with mature shrubs and space for garden furniture. Off-road parking is provided for 3-4 cars, and the shop and pub in Thurlestone village are within a 15-minute walk. Fuel and power are included in the rent, and the house has WiFi, a TV and DVD player throughout.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are permitted, and change-over day is strictly a Thursday. There is no cot or highchair at the property, and smoking is not permitted inside.
