Saltwind Granary

Saltwind Granary is a converted barn cottage in the countryside near Hartland, reached along meadow lanes about five and a half miles from Clovelly. A field separates the cottage from the North Devon coast and the South West Coast Path, and a National Trust footpath to the coastline starts around 100 yards from the door. The cottage sleeps 3 across two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor: a king-size double and a single room with its own en-suite shower room, shower, WC and basin. A separate ground-floor bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, plus a WC and basin. Upstairs is the open-plan living space, with a lofty beamed ceiling and French windows leading down steps to the garden, along with the kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen is fitted with a microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher, and central heating runs throughout, with fuel and power included in the rent. A TV with DVD player, WiFi and a landline phone cover evenings in. Outside, a private garden to the side of the cottage has a table and chairs for sitting out.

Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and Saltwind Granary does not accept pets and is no smoking throughout. Boat trips to Lundy Island run from Clovelly, and the surf beaches at Westward Ho! and Bude are within reach, with two family adventure parks within ten miles.
