Rousdon Courtyard

This two-storey property forms part of the old stable block on the Rousdon Estate, a 19th-century group of buildings set within 350 acres of shared parkland on the Devon-Dorset border. The Victorian exterior has been kept intact while the interior has been updated for comfortable self-catering stays, sleeping up to five guests.

The kitchen sits at the heart of the property, fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a breakfast table for everyday meals. A separate lounge/diner offers more formal dining space and comfortable seating around a Smart TV.

Upstairs, the double bedroom has its own en-suite with shower and WC, while the twin and single bedrooms share the family bathroom, which has both a bath and a shower over. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, making the property practical for families with young children.

There is no private garden, but guests have access to the estate's 350 acres of shared grounds, along with a private beach reached via a pathway just under a mile away. Private off-road parking is provided for two cars close to the entrance. Dogs are welcome, up to two per booking, with additional charges applying. Internet access is available on-site.
