10 Pinewood Retreat

10 Pinewood Retreat is a single-storey Finnish-style chalet within Pinewood Retreat, a holiday park near Rousdon on the coast road between Lyme Regis and Seaton. Built from wood with a panelled interior, the chalet sleeps 4 in a double and a twin bedroom, both on the ground floor, sharing a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The open-plan sitting room, kitchen and dining room share one space, with an electric oven, hob, microwave and a fridge with an ice box in the kitchen. There's a TV in the sitting room and in the double bedroom, though WiFi is only intermittently available here due to the remote location, so there's no smart TV. Electricity and bed linen are included in the rent.

Guests can use the communal indoor swimming pool, heated and open all year round except for three days at Christmas, and a seasonal outdoor pool, along with a children's swing area and garden. A veranda with decking gives a spot to sit outside, and the washing machine and dryer are kept in a separate building on site rather than in the chalet itself.

One car can park in an off-road space. There's no capacity to charge electric vehicles here, though charging points are available in nearby Seaton's Tesco and Aldi car parks. Pets are not permitted, and there's no iron provided.
